My name is April Nyenkamp and I'm a fourth-year marketing student at the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa.

I grew up in the country in a small town called Crysler. I love being surrounded by nature, outdoor activities, and supporting local businesses. I chose to go to the University of Ottawa because it allowed me to stay close to home and the things I love while still getting an awesome education!

Over the years I've had the chance to work for some amazing companies such as Hydro Ottawa and Accreditation Canada. Both of these companies gave me the opportunity to expand my network and build on my marketing skills through various tasks such as event planning, social media content creation, and writing.
